Embroidery Frequently Asked QuestionsI would like to have my logo embroidered on some garments. Where do I start?
First of all, you email me a jpeg image of your logo. I will then give you a free quote of how much it will be to digitise your logo. On average, how much does it cost for a left breast logo to be digitized? On average, approximately £35 unless there are thousands of stitches in the design. How long does it take to process my order? Once I have the digitizing, around 5-7 working days, sometimes quicker, but we try to work to the clients timescale. What if I don't have an image, or just have an idea of what I would like? Tell me what you have in mind and we will take it from there - we have long experience of logo creation. Once you have agreed the artwork it can then be sent on for digitizing. We can even make digitizing up from other garments already embroidered! Can I save on digitizing costs if I just want wording as my logo? Of course, but I would strongly suggest that we get the digitizers involved, as your logo/company name portrays to potential customers what your company are like to deal with, and we would want them to get the very best impression! If I have a left breast logo digitized, can it be used for other embroidery? Yes, when we get the digitizers to make up your logo, we will ask them to make the logo work for caps and any other garments. This will save you lots of money in the long term. Can you embroider on mens and ladies classic cotton shirts or woollens including golfing and sailing equipment. Yes, and we can provide them too if you wish. I have bought garments from embroiderers in the past and they were not very good quality. What garments do you supply? I generally use a well known and established british company, Uneek Clothing. Their garments are used by us in stables and have always been found to keep their colours and shape after the most heavy use. We also use some garments from a company called Regatta and Premier Equine for specialist equestrian use. However, we can get any make of garment, just ask! I have some garments that I have already bought. Would you embroider them using my logo? We would be delighted. If you already have your logo digitized from a different embroidery company, we can use this if your previous embroiderer emails it to us and it is in the format that our machines can read. However, if we do a sew out and the digitizing is not good enough we will give you the option to have it re-digitized. I would like my favourite lucky horse rug or saddlecloth embroidered. Yes, we embroider on clients horse rugs—just choose a style of font and silk colour - but please could you make sure that it is fur free! What size will the embroidery be on my jacket back? It can be as wide as my embroidery frame, which is just under 30cms. What size will the embroidery be on my horse rug? I would suggest that we keep the embroidery to just under 40cms width although we now have frames that can comfortably embroidery horse rugs up to 48cms width. I would like some saddle cloths embroidered but they are very thick. It will be tricky and totally at your own risk, although we do have special equipment to cater for these. We can provide nice saddle cloths if you would prefer not to risk your own (we compete in them at national level). The logos on saddle cloths are sized to meet the requirements of British Dressage rules. If I supply you with my garments or rugs, what happens if anything goes wrong? Sometimes embroidery machines can chew-up garments when they go wrong. In the unlikely event that this happens, I’m afraid that we are not to be held responsible and that we embroider the clients own items at their risk. However, this is a very unlikely event. Can you embroider on any part of a garment? We are happy to embroider sleeves, pocket flaps, collars - you name it, we will give it a go! I need some embroidered badges, can you do this? Quite simply, yes! no problem. Just email me the size, quantity and jpeg of the design and I will give you a quote. We have union jack patches set up on the machine as standard in case emergencies!. Do your company do caps and hats? Of course! Cap embroidery is quite specialised and logos need to be digitized very specifically. We also LOVE to do 3D puff embroidery on caps. We can put logos and names on fronts, sides and backs of caps too. IF YOU SUPPLY US WITH A LOGO TO EMBROIDER PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO USE IT - WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING PERMISSIONS FOR COPYRIGHTS |
